Below are the general steps we use to transform your life into a Blockbuster documentary and magazine spread - think part Netflix doc, part Vogue magazine, all you. (And if you’re under 25, Blockbuster was like Netflix … but in a building … with questionable carpet.)
Of course, we might shuffle things around a bit - because no two stars are the same, and we like to keep things as fun and flexible as a conga line.
Contact us to schedule a free call where we get to know a little about each other. We’ll walk you through our process, answer any questions, and chat about how we can bring your story to life. After the call, you’ll get access to the StoryHeld Studio - where you’ll find additional information including everything you need to prep, plan, and feel totally ready for your video. When you are ready to move forward, simply fill out the details in the StoryHeld Studio to get started.
We will then schedule a same-day in-person workshop and recording session. During the workshop, we’ll discuss what you’d like to include in your video and offer some light coaching to help you feel confident and natural on camera.
Then, we let the cameras roll and start capturing your story. The entire process typically takes around 4 hours - plenty of time for meaningful conversation, real moments, and maybe a few behind-the-scenes laughs.
After recording, you can sit back while we get to work. We'll begin editing your video and creating your custom magazine. Throughout the process, we’ll stay in touch and provide you multiple rounds of edits to make sure everything feels just right. When it's all complete, we’ll deliver your finished video and magazine - ready to be shared, celebrated, and remembered.
